Dual injection: DI + MPI – how does it work?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Increasingly stringent emission standards do not make the work of car manufacturers easier. In order to meet these requirements, engineers constantly change the design of gasoline engines. The latest design trend is the use of two injection systems simultaneously – Multipoint Injection (MPI) and direct injection into the combustion chambers (DI – Direct Injection)<\/strong>. This means that there are two gasoline injectors per cylinder, operating separately, which dose gasoline in front of the valves and directly into the combustion chamber.<\/p>\n
